Questions, answered
Is my spreadsheet uploaded anywhere?
No. Your file is read, cleaned and turned into a dashboard inside your browser. Nothing from it is sent to our servers or to any other service. Only the payment goes to Stripe, and it carries nothing from your file.
Which files can I use?
Excel files (.xlsx and .xls) and .csv files. The free version reads files up to 10 MB and 100,000 rows; Pro reads any Excel sheet, up to Excel's maximum of 1,048,576 rows and 150 MB. Everything happens in your browser, so very large files need a recent computer (not a phone or tablet) and can take a minute or two to read. If a workbook has several sheets, you choose one. Password-protected files can't be opened.
What does the cleaning change?
It trims stray spaces, treats markers like N/A as blank, turns numbers and dates stored as text into real values, removes empty rows and columns, subtotal rows and exact duplicates, and evens out spelling differences in categories. The report lists every fix with a count, and you can switch any of them off.
What do I get when I pay?
A single HTML file with your dashboard: filters, sorting and search all work, and there's no watermark. It opens in any browser, even offline, so you can email it or host it anywhere. It holds only the rows your filters show. With Pro you can also export to Excel, CSV, PDF and images.
Can I change the dashboard?
Yes. Rename it and its charts, change what each chart measures, move or hide charts, filter the data and pick one of three colour themes. Switching a chart to one of the 11 chart types comes with Pro, or once you've paid for that dashboard's export; adding your own charts comes with Pro.
Do I need an account?
No. Upload, preview and export without signing up. Pro subscribers sign in on a new device with a link we email them: there's no password to remember.
What does Pro include?
Unlimited exports for as long as you subscribe, monthly or yearly, every chart type, and adding your own charts. You can also save the filtered data as Excel or CSV, the dashboard as a PDF and each chart as a PNG or SVG image. Your spreadsheet still never leaves your browser.
How do I cancel Pro?
Any time, under “Manage subscription” in the Pro menu at the top of the page. Pro stays on until the end of the period you've paid for and then stops; nothing renews.
Can I get a refund?
The export is delivered as soon as you pay, so before paying you’re asked to agree that you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal once the download starts. The full details are in the terms (opens in a new tab).
